The WHO Foundation begins accepting applications at the end of
March each year. If you have recently received a grant from WHO,
we ask that you wait three years before applying again.
Grant applications must be at the foundation by the 2nd Tuesday
of September by 5pm Central time.
Grant recipients will be notified by early December. Because of
the volume of requests we receive, we ask that you not call to
inquire on the status of your application. See the application
criteria for additional information.
You will not be notified if your grant request is received unless
you include two self-addressed stamped envelopes with your application.
Faxed submissions will not be accepted. Please see the guidelines
on the application form.
The WHO Foundation does not give grants to individuals. Please
see our application criteria.
It has been decided by our Board of Directors to not make commitment
of funds to any religious organization.
If your organization’s 501(c)(3) is over three years old
and at least two consecutive years of budget is included with application
you may still apply for funding.
The grant application must furnish copy and proof of 501(c)(3)
classification in their name. No affiliate classifications will
be accepted.
Grants will not be given to funds for building purposes (i.e.
building campaigns, Habitat for Humanity, etc.). Please see
our application
criteria.
If you previously received a grant from us, please wait three
years before applying again. (i.e. If you received a grant
in 2006, you
may not apply again until 2009.)
Please make sure you have the most recent version of Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer to view the application.
